Esquire magazine posted to its website what it believes are “America’s 21 Most Beautiful Campsites.”

“With 3,794,100 square miles of soaring mountains, pristine beaches and crystal clear lakes, the United States offers endless options for those looking to spend a few nights under the stars. But not all campsites are created equal,” Graham Hiemstra wrote. “To help you decide where to pitch your tent this summer, we enlisted the outdoor experts at Hipcamp, America’s foremost digital camping guide. From Zion to Glacier Bay and down to Death Valley, here are 21 of America’s most amazing campsites.”
