Thor Industries Sued For Violated Warranty

A Galveston man is suing Thor Industries, a manufacturer of recreational vehicles, alleging the defendant sold him a defective vehicle.

Harvey Grief filed a lawsuit Aug. 11 in Galveston County District Court against Thor Industries Inc. alleging a violation of the Magnuson-Moss WarrantyAct.

According to the complaint, on March 13, 2015, Grief purchased a new 2014 Thor Motor Coach Tuscany from Camping World RV Sales for more than $295.000. When delivered, the suit says, the vehicle was defective in materials and workmanship, with such defects being discovered within the warranty periods.

Has an RV been built in the last twenty years that hasn’t violated warranty? What do you think? Leave a comment.
