The calendar shows it is April. April, the time of year that many, many folks who, for sixth months, have traded their familiar northern residences for the warmth and fun activities of southern states. In the spring they reverse the process and head north to inhabit their summer homes. These people are referred to as ‘Snowbirds’. However, they don’t think much of snow and cold, icy weather.

The crazy weather is playing tricks on the northwest, midwest, central and eastern parts of the country. Roads in a lot of states in these sections are still under winter conditions …black ice on highways, high winds, rain, sleet, snow, hail.

Here are a few reminder tips for driving in nasty weather, whether you are in your RV, or your POV.

Hopefully the weather will change for the better and Snowbirds will reach their northern nest safe and sound.
