Tiki Beach Bar and Resort – Paradise In Wisconsin

For those who lake to camp in Florida, Tiki Beach Bar and Resort is bringing the experience to campers in Wisconsin so they don’t have to travel south.

The Tiki Beach Bar and Resort at Kettle Moraine Lake near Campbellsport Wisconsin opened a couple of months ago offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy water and camping experiences in a relaxing setting.

“Toby Watson, a doctor located in Sheboygan, he purchased this property because he was in love with Key West,” General Manager Nicholas Conway said.

The attraction has several amenities for visitors to enjoy. It is situated adjacent to the lake and visitors can access the water via a beach, compliments of the resort. There are several picnic tables along with a full bar for people to order their drinks.

“It is an inflatable water park,” Conway said of one of the beach’s amenities. “It has got trampolines, a little slide, obstacle courses and that is something that we are going to build on as well.”

Once they are done playing in the water for the day, families can enjoy dinner as they watch the sunset on the outdoor patio area. The patio overlooks the water and is separated from the beach by a single flight of stairs.

People can reserve a banquet hall for special events, including wedding receptions, business gatherings, birthday parties and other celebrations. There are also several facilities that provide creature comforts to varying degrees, from condominiums where individuals or families can remain year-round to sites that campers can use for a single day to a couple of months.

“We are almost creating our own business model here,” Conway said. “We are a mix of campground/ semi-luxurious campground and resort.”
