In an initiative that began in late July, Thetford Corporation continues to add a series of refreshed and updated RV product videos to its marketing library.
The initiative reflects the growing power of video in the marketing arena – one study reported that 90 percent of consumers said that watching a product video helps them make a buying decision.
“We’ve used videos for a long time, so we’re familiar with the power of video marketing,” Thetford Director of Marketing Andy Bialorucki says. “This major update of our video library reflects our drive to give consumers the up-to-date information they need to choose our industry-leading products.”
In all, 28 videos were produced, including most holding tank product videos – along with content related to how to best care for an RV and how to select the right toilet. They are accessed on YouTube (youtube.com/c/thetfordcorp) and streamed on Thetford.com, and are available on any device connected to the Internet.
“We want dealers to know that these videos are available as a resource for their use, too,” Bialorucki says. “They’re hosted on YouTube, so dealers can embed our videos on their website, email them as a link to an in-store computer or phone, and show them to customers in the showroom. They’re a great tool to increase engagement with customers and sell products.”
