Guests Evacuate Disney Fort Wilderness

As Hurricane Matthew move into Florida, Disney Fort Wilderness ordered guests to check out by 11 a.m. Thursday morning.

When it comes to theme parks, Disney is still weighing its options.

SeaWorld will close early Thursday and stay closed through Friday. Aquatica Water Park and Discovery Cove will close both days.

The Orlando Eye will close Thursday and Friday. Universal is still assessing.

The crew at Fun Spot America is getting prepared, pulled down tarps and will stash loose chairs and trash cans. Fun Spot’s decision whether to close will happen Thursday.

Many area hotel employees are trying to warn guests about the hurricane, keeping them informed and putting out the word that service, and possibly even power, could be interrupted.
